TOPIC: “Highest and Best Use: Ourselves – The quiet discipline behind credible judgment.”
Upcoming June 9th luncheon will be Orell Anderson
In eminent domain and right of way, deadlines march like survey stakes, driven into the ground whether you are ready or not. Court calendars, project schedules, funding windows, and property owner demands keep pressing the work forward. Reports must be completed, hearings prepared for, and acquisitions coordinated under timelines we rarely control. But while deadlines keep projects moving, they can also push our own well-being dangerously low on the list. If we neglect this crucial aspect, the cracks do not just show at home, they spread straight through our credibility and into the trust that is placed upon us by the public.
Orell C. Anderson, MAI, FRICS, ASA, is president of Strategic Property Analytics, Inc., a forensic appraisal and consulting firm focused on real property damage economics and property value diminution. He provides valuation, litigation support, and expert testimony in complex environmental and eminent domain matters across the United States and internationally.
