Joseph D. Munsey, RPL, presents on “Title Company vs. Title Consultant.”

Joe holds his Registered Professional Landman with the American Association of Professional Landmen. He works with Southern California Gas Company’s underground gas storage operations managing crude oil purchase contracts, operating agreements affecting non-operators and third-party operators, oil and gas leases, licenses and rights of way within the boundaries of their four active gas storage fields and two non-commissioned gas storage fields.

Prior to joining Southern California Gas Company he worked in the consulting arena of oil and gas, rights of way, geothermal, and land developers.

He has held committee chair positions and/or officer duties with AAPL, LAAPL, LAPLTA, NALTA, IRWA [Chapter 67] and WCLI.

His current professional membership includes IRWA, AAPL, LAAPL and BAPL.

Joe is currently an officer and board member of a non-for-profit organization; in the past he has advised a company holding interest in Utah’s tar sands and a company holding several thousand mineral acres in California, both publicly traded.
